How to Communicate with Men

It is a basic need and desire to connect, but for women and men it poses a great challenge. The dance of the pursuer and distancer begins as old roles are played out and often ends with needs unmet. Disappointment, frustration and hurt are the results of these interactions. Why is intimacy so difficult to experience within our relationships? How can we create meaningful dialogue with each other? Women and men must discover the “we” in the relationship to find common ground for authentic connection. We will explore how boundaries, communication styles, gender differences, and even the words that we choose support us in creating this connection.
